Britney Spears in Sweet Piecey Medium Blond Hair with Extensions

Long, straight and blonde were the three words that described the most common hairstyles of Britney Spears for several years.

So it was a refreshing change to see her after a great hair makeover with a brand new style of wavy hair at medium length.

It is a flattering hairstyle for Britney. It makes her look sweeter but also more mature. (She's about 21 in this picture.)

The copper strands mixed in with the blonde haircolor are either lowlights or extensions.

Since Britney had hair this length at the time, it's not so clear that she is wearing hair extensions, but she may have added some for more interesting color or more attractive volume.
