Hair and Beauty Tips from a Supermodel

"In the morning I do stretching exercises for fifteen minutes . . . Gets the blood pumping, then steam my face for ten minutes over a kettle of hot water; my skin's oily and breaks out sometimes. I pat a little moisturizer--Lancome or Clarins--around my eyes, maybe on cheeks too.

"To remove makeup I start with milk cleanser, spray my face with Evian water, and wipe with tissue. Then Neutrogena soap. . . I like my skin squeaky clean!

"Brown eye shadows are easiest to work with. Never wear lipstick . . . I hate it when you leave a smudge on the napkin. Putting on lipstick at the table is one of my pet peeves!

"Couldn't do without Lancome's Dual Finish Creme Powder Makeup or lip moisturizer from Kiehl pharmacy. My skin is very olive so a lot of powders are too pink for me.

"My hair takes a beating with working all the time. Use Kiehl's hair conditioners as well as stuff called Phyto--hair-moisturizing and sun-protecting products.

"After working out at the gym, I shower, apply hair moisturizer, and put my hair up in a bun or ponytail. . . . Sleep in it, and rinse out the next morning.

"Free haircuts are one perk of being a model!"
