Destiny's Child Haircuts with Short Wavy Hair and Long Braids

The cool haircuts of the Destiny's Child girls glamorized the cover of the best hairstyle magazine for black women in the summer of 2001.

Kelly Rowland's short haircut has so much style; it has a chic slight spiky look to it on top and fancy, feminine, long piecey waves at the fringe.

The magazine cover shot also shows us Beyonce Knowles in a hip hairdo with very long cornrows; half of them are blonde while the other half are black, except for a few rows which are brown.

It's a lot of work but if you have the time, patience, and money, then you, too, can look great in a modern very cool hairstyle.

Mary J. Blige had a brand new look for her hair. She's one black celebrity who isn't afraid to color her hair blonde.

We see her here in a shoulder-length very glam hairstyle with flips. It has a slight Farrah-Fawcett or retro winged style to it, but it looks nice with her face shape.
