The young hair model started with a bob cut and instead of curling it in or letting it curl naturally towards her face like many bob hairstyles, she blowdried and styled it to set in the opposite direction.

It is a little flippy, but it's not excessive; with hair this short, you don't want to get carried away 'flipping' it. It's actually a little more wavy than flippy.

A big soft wave like the teen girl has is enhanced nicely and 'drawn out' with highlighted hair just like what you see in the picture.

Note how close the highlighting color in part of her hair is to her skin tone.
