2004 - Female Celebrities' Haircuts from Popular Hairstyle Magazines

[+] Depending on what part of America (or the world) you live in, you may not know that there are hairstyles magazines for black women exclusively.

Black Hair Styles and Care Guide is the sister publication of the more well-known and more easily available magazine Sophisticate's Hairstyle Guide. They are both about as thick and rich. This one, for example, has 1,000 new styles, although it may have more hair product ads than SHG.

The May 2004 issue featuring Beyonce Knowles on the cover was the Platinum Edition and Collector's Issue to celebrate the mag's 20th Anniversary. It showcased the 10 Best Styled Black Women of '04.

Who had the top celebrity hair designs? Honors went to Beyonce; Gabrielle Union; Alicia Keys; Ashanti; Mary J. Blige; Vivica A. Fox; Oprah Winfrey; Eve; Janet Jackson; and Halle Berry.

The large picture of Halle shows her in an ultra short crop haircut. It's like a pixie with spiky fringe--two spikes to be exact. (It's also a bit pointy on top.) She's previously never had it this short.
