Charlene Tilton Pictures Before and After Mature Makeover From Long to Very Short Hair

After you turn 40, you have to cut off your hair, right? That often seems to be the unwritten rule in American culture--at least for professional women if nobody else.

Charlene Tilton was 43 in the top picture wearing long hair. (You may remember when it was extremely long while she was in the cast of Dallas in the 80s.)

In the image above, that's Charlene about a year later, aged 44, following a dramatic transformation. You might have to do a double take to make sure that's really her, although the sweet smile sort of gives it away.

Her makeover left her with very short, spiky hair. It looks quite stiff instead of soft and flowing. The fringe has two long pieces and two short layers which help downplay a large forehead. Charlene's new style suits her beautifully!
