Medium hairstyles are the most popular kind of styles for women. According to a poll on Beautiful Hairstyles, nearly half (46%) of female visitors said their next hairstyle was going to be medium length. That was nearly twice the number who said they were going to get a short haircut (28%); whereas even less said they would have long hair (19%). (Very short and very long made up about 5%.)
What exactly is a "medium" hairstyle? Medium is the word used to describe a hair length that is somewhere between short and long. Others call it "mid-length" or "shoulder-length." Here medium is meant to describe a length that is at least slightly below the chin and up to, or a little past, your shoulders. So it can vary from one woman to the next depending on whether she has a long neck, short neck, or average size.
