Most Popular Hairstyles Photos in America and Around The World Pictures of the most popular women's hairstyles based on internet searches and high ratings in online polls...
Jennifer Aniston the only time she ever had a short hairstyle since we've known her (and maybe the last time). She rarely changes her hair--either the length, style, or color--but she's an inspirational woman copied by many.
Jennifer Aniston in the classic look of long hair that looks casual and perfect. The style is sexy and the color is gorgeous. It's hot enough to wear by day or night. It's not too difficult to style and suits most face shapes.
Eva Longoria with probably her most popular hairstyle ever. It may have been a one-off style, because it hasn't shown up on the red carpet again, but so many girls loved it when it was polled here. It has dramatic curves.
Miley Cyrus with one of her best haircuts. The color is pretty good, too. If you like long hair and big waves, this is a top choice. It has two colors besides her brown base. It may be a little on the big side, though, for teens.
Cheyenne Kimball is a gorgeous gal, with or without an amazing hairstyle, but this long and wavy style just seems so perfect for teenagers with long locks. It is so pretty. (It's similar to Jen's haircut above, but in blonde.)
Jessica Biel was named the sexiest woman alive by a magazine. Although it was based mostly on her bod, she does have hot hair, too. This is a very attractive haircut; it's so long and feminine. Takes time to maintain, though.
Jessica Alba back when she had short hair (it seems like it was a long time ago). She looks sooo cute! The color and texture are sensational. The thick piece over her forehead is different and sassy. Mix of chunky and thin pieces.
Katie Holmes hairstyles are some of the most requested today. This cut from a few years ago is similar to what she has now. (She tried something different after it, but has since returned to this easy style.)
Victoria Beckham replaced Meg Ryan as the hairstyle icon for women with short hair by this famous Pob. It's radical, funky, unique, and edgy. Much more dramatic than anything Meg ever had, it was a refreshing change.
Sarah Harding is one of the most followed young celebs in the UK, so her haircuts are the subject of much interest. This bob was downloaded and copied a lot. It is a toned-down version of Victoria's extreme bob.
Jenny McCarthy' simple bob with sharp angles became a hit in 2007 and remains a hit even today. Probably because it's very straight and precise, and so looks perfect for professional women. Plus it's very easy to maintain.
Kristin Cavallari looks great with long hair (which she usually has, sometimes with extensions), but this sweet, layered bob was popular, too. The volume is just right. It's one of the best short hairstyles with layers. Teens love it!
JLo with very popular hairstyle. This received some of the highest ratings of any styles on this site. It is similar to other long, wavy hairstyles, but it's bigger than most of them, is layered, and has more chunky pieces.
Jessica Simpson in this photo has one of the most popular medium hairstyles in recent years. Features include fine, razored layers and a nice fringe. It's one of her all-time best looks, and has a classic quality that still looks inspired.
[+] Katie Holmes (29) short hairstyle on the cover of InStyle magazine (January 2008). Hair by Enzo Angileri. It's simple and a little wispy. Her cut is getting a lot of attention mostly because she's getting a lot of exposure. Besides lots of pictures showing the latest trends, this issue has 250 of 365 beauty, style, and fashion quotes from female celebrities. (Probably the largest collection anywhere.) The rest are at instyle.com/365. Very interesting tips and tricks. (Courtesy Instyle) Q. What is the most popular hairstyle since the Rachel? A. Discounting the short Pob (above), and focusing just on long hairstyles, it is probably the long layered haircut. The layers start at the chin or just below and continue to the ends. It is like half a long bob--the bob part is at the front and the sides have few if any layers. Although Miss Aniston has worn it, she didn't make it famous. You can see similarities, however, between it and the Rachel Green style. Indeed it's difficult to pin the cut on any one star, even though so many stars wear it.
It's a very simple style to maintain, but it is quite pretty, which is likely the main reasons for its popularity and longevity. Since 2003 when the above picture of Jen was taken, it has remained, quietly, in fashion. For this reason it is fair to call it a "modern classic."
