Nia Peeples, the singer and actress, currently sports this easy short hairstyle.

Although the hairstyling is basic, Nia has the increasing popular and somewhat more 'sophisticated' or mature-looking hair highlighting style of dark streaks.

More and more women are toning it down, moving away from bold, bright, blonde highlights, which were so common for many years, to more subtle coloring styles (e.g., Cheryl Burke). These still add hair flair but without demanding attention.
