Jamie Lynn Spears likes to play with color, especially lowlights, so once again we see her in a new hairstyle with dark brown streaks in her medium to long blond hair.

It looks fun and creative and the extreme color would certainly get people's attention quickly.

Jamie's new layered down design with bold coloring is a very simple relaxed style that you can do yourself quite easily.

The color technique may be something you'd feel more comfortable asking your colorist to do, but there's really nothing complicated about the styling.

It works for day or night and could be classified as casual or, at a stretch, semi-formal. Jamie wore it like this to a Teen Vogue party.
