Rihanna has been on the vanguard of female hair fashion since she got clipped with a bobbed hairstyle, and she's the first one to give her bob an extreme makeover.
Out with the straight; in with the curls. Curly bob hairdos were popular in the 90s; we haven't seen too many since then, but a new trend (or return to an old one) may be on the way.
There has to be a way to spice up a plain bob, right?
Rihanna's new look is very different from her previous bobs by its piecey styling. The wide "sheet" of hair has been broken up virtually into tendrils.
The beveling makes it more sexy and the curly piece that falls down onto her nose makes it more sassy.
