Cate Blanchett in Refined Blonde Wavy Hairdo at the 2005 Oscars
The uniformity in the waves of Cate Blanchett's hair design make this a suitable formal style. It's a neat hairdo, although some might consider it a little too 'informal' for the Oscars--especially if you've been nominated and think you could win. Cate won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress following her excellent work in The Aviator.
